EURO PROS "PET DOG BOOT CAMP" - 1 WEEK BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM FOR DOGS 6 MONTHS OR OLDER:
Euro Pros K-9 Center offers a wide variety of specialized training programs, such as, AKC competition obedience, tracking and Canine Good Citizen Certificate training, Schutzhund competition (tracking, obedience & protection) training, as well as, behaviour modification problem solving.
However, it is our "BOOT CAMP" programs that have been the foundation of our success as Florida's premier dog training facility. Our "PET DOG BOARD & TRAIN" is a program like no other. It has been singled out for excellence and written-up in several dog publications. This unique obedience program is resident training program that teaches both the pet dog, as well as, his owner.
The dog is boarded at Euro Pros K-9 Center for a minimum of seven (7) full days and is trained during his stay. While at "PET DOG BOARD & TRAIN", your dog receives all the "DUDE RANCH" boarding features (click on "K-9 DUDE RANCH" boarding to the left), such as, "Super-Sized' kennels, two on leash hikes each day, a "free-running" play session & etc. Each day, five short 15 to 20 minute training sessions are scheduled. They are interspursed around the two on leash hikes and the play period so that the dog is out of his kennel each hour, eight times-a-day. It truely is like sending a child off to a high-activity summer camp or to US Marine Boot Camp.
By training five times a day for short periods of time, in the course of a seven day week we will have 35 training sessions with your dog while utilizing only his prime attention span. Successful training can quickly be accomplished with such a intensive, focused schedule.
We train using "Motivation", "Consistancy' and "Repetition" combined with our variation of Operant Conditioning through the professional application of "Marker Training". Most trainers "teach" your dog to do something . . . We develop the "habit" of him doing things correctly.

Euro Pros "Pet Dog Board & Train" Program can assist you in achieving the following so your dog will be a most pleasant family experience:
1.) Voice Commands/Hand Signals (in foreign language, if requested) - Respond to “Voice” commands (beside English, if you wish, we can train your dog in German, Dutch, French, Czech or . . . ?) The Hand Signals are imbedded into the training.
2.) Focused Attention - Demonstrate that he understands automatic focused attention by looking calmly up into the face of the handler.
3.) Snap Sit - Show he has the foundation training to accomplish a very snappy "Sit", with an automatic focused attention.
4.) Quick Down - Show he has the foundation to do a consistent and quick “Down”.
5.) Solid Stay - Demonstrate his foundation training by his settling into a solid, automatic stay with both the "Sit" and "Down" commands.
6.) Release Command - Show he has the foundation training to hold that stay until the release command "Okay" is given.
7.) No Pulling On Leash - No pulling when "Flexi-Heeling" (Walking) casually either On-Leash Next To The Handler or out to Varying Distances Out In Front Of The Handler - Show, with the "Easy" command, on a casual walk, that the dog walks nicely at whatever distance the handler wishes, on a loose leash, without any pulling and that he turns when the handler does. Invented at Euro Pros Training Center, our award winning "Flexi-Heeling" offers an enjoyable walk whether at your side (like heeling), near you or out in front of you. When compared to the repressive drill team-like competition heeling commonly taught, this flexibility adds a new dimension.
8.) Reliable Recall - Demonstrate the foundation of the "Here" command by showing his Recall (Come) with him coming quickly and ending with a "Sit" with an automatic focused attention right in front of handler.
9.) No Jumping Up - Show that the pup has understands the "Off" command and does not jump up on people or things.
10.) Up & Down Stairs - Demonstrate that the dog can navigate up and down stairs confidently.
11.) Crate Trained - Show that the dog has learned to love his "Special Spot" (his crate), like a kid loves a tree house.
12.) Polite Greeting - Use the "Off" command to demonstrate a Polite Greeting on-leash with the dog not bothering or jumping up when meeting people.
13.) Polite Door Manors - With the "Easy" command, demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait when going through a door or a gate.
14.) Polite Table Etiquette - With the "Easy" command, demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait till commanded to eat.
15.) Distractions - Work these exercises while under moderate distractions.
16.) Two Hour Graduation Program - When our training has been completed there will be a 2 hour Graduation Program to catch you up with what your dog now knows and all the commands and how to handle him.
17.) Includes 2 Private N/C Training Sessions after Graduation - should you require some additional help.
18.) Credit Toward Future Training – A $200 credit will be given upon the completion of the Pet Dog Board & Train Program. It can be applied toward any future Euro Pros Board & Train Program.
>>> Note: To these obedience exercises, you can add several "custom" things to be worked on during "PET DOG BOARD & TRAIN" without any additional cost. These "Custom" items might include: Housebreaking Help, Minor Problem Solving or, for example, (Euro Pros' exclusive) "Invisible Leash" Training. "Invisible Leash" training, however, will require several additional boarding days & an equipment purchase from Euro Pros.
When your dog has graduated from "PET DOG BOARD & TRAIN", we have you (and the others in your household) come in for a two hour "graduation session". In the first 45 minutes, is a classroom session for you. In it, we discuss the training psychology for each excercise, the underpinnings and exactly how your dog accomplished learning each excercise. We then teach you how to handle the dog in each excercise and physically work with you to master the handling techniques. Only then, do we bring out your dog and . . . with us doing the handling, show you just how well he readily and snappily he responds to each command.
After you have seen your dog doing everything, we put you together with your dog and work with you and your dog until the two of you are functioning as a team and correctly doing all the exercises.
We then teach you a three minute routine that you must do with your dog when you get home. This three minute routine, done several times a day for a short period at your home, will transfer the habit of him working correctly for us at our location . . . to him responding correctly for you . . . at your location.
Whatever basic equipment we utilized in his training, we send home with you without additional cost, so you can work with him exactly as you learned.
